They grow so fast, I know I need a larger tank as I currently have a baby Oscar named Ralph in a 12 gallon. He has been in it for 5 months now and is about 4 inches long. However, I was told at a minimum it should be 55 gallons if all you have is 1 Oscar and possibly a Plecostomus (Ralph ate his tank mate Nubs.) Please check out this website, it is full of information and may help you decide if an Oscar is right for you. http://www.oscarfishlover.com/ I believe it also has a tank size calculator to help you out! Hope this helps!
