How big a problem is the abuse of disabled children and young people in sport?
There have not been any studies to date that looked specifically at abuse of disabled children and young people in sport. However, research conducted outside sport has shown that not only are there are individuals who target disabled children for abuse, but that they are more likely to be abused than non-disabled children.
