Get involved. Review the work you do and identify as many ways to improve it as you can. Get your improvement ideas to your CA representative team as soon as possible. Time is running out. Your input (or lack thereof) can determine whether our MEO is the best or not. No one else knows your job as well as you. Use an issue paper as a tool to capture important information that needs review during the CA study. It consists of an employee’s identification of processes in their work place that can be improved. ANY EMPLOYEE can submit an issue paper with ideas and suggestions. Use a plain sheet of paper with the heading “ISSUE PAPER” at the top and the following three sub-headings filled-in. 1. Subject (issue you want the CA team to review), 2. Discussion (how things currently are being done), and 3. Recommendation (a faster, better, cheaper way of doing things.
