How bad was the injury sustained by QB Tom Brady in Fridays game at Washington?”
Patriots coach Bill Belichick continued to dodge questions about the severity of the shoulder injury sustained by QB Tom Brady in Friday’s game at Washington. Asked about Brady’s status, Belichick said (via the Boston Globe): “I’m not comfortable getting into a public diagnosis of anything. Look, we played a physical game against a very physical team. I’m sure at the end of the game a lot of guys were sore and had bumps and bruises and all that. Everybody that played in the game would fall into that category. That’s pretty normal after a game like that.” Belichick declined to say if Brady would appear on the injury report if this were the regular season. The coach did say that Brady “had a desire to play” in the second half last night, but he made the call to play backups Kevin O’Connell and Andrew Walter.
