How bad is 750 miles per quart of oil?
That amount of oil consumption is nothing to worry about. Normal for a Diesel that runs mostly short trips about town. But your poor fuel mileage is a sign of trouble — you should be up around 33 to 35. > It is occasionally very difficult to start.
