How bad has Alligator been affected by international piracy?
There have been cases of international piracy for a long time — years ago in Australia and more recently in Russia and Poland. Sales are more affected, in a negative way, by CD burning. Blues is a “niche genre” so we’re probably less hurt by file sharing than pop artists, but the fact that people “share” their CDs by burning them for their friends has a real impact on our sales.
