How are you able to sell me a netbook at such a low price?
When you purchase a netbook and a carrier data plan from us, the carrier pays us a fee. We use a portion of this fee to subsidize the price you pay for the netbook, but in exchange we ask you to agree to our Equipment Discount policy. One component of this policy is that you permit us to charge up to $300 to your credit card should you cancel, modify or fail to pay the carrier for your data plan within the first six months following activation. If you cancel your plan within the 24-month contract term, the carrier can charge you an early termination fee of up to $175 as well.
