How are words grouped into islands with one another?
The words on the map are grouped based on frequency and proximity. Primary themes appear in the center of the map, then working outward, the secondary themes appear with weaker signals displaying on the outskirts of the map. Analogy of word/island grouping: I have several friends (only one who is a best friend), so the software would group me with my best friend. This does not mean I don’t have other friends, just that I am most commonly seen with my best friend.
