How are winners selected for non-juried shows?

Member’s choice winners are decided by a straight vote. The artwork that receives the single most votes from paid member artists is the member’s choice winner. Member’s mention goes to the piece of artwork that receives the second most paid artist member votes. In the event of a tie, the prize is divided equally. Patron’s choice winners are based on the net number of votes from non-artist registered users for an individual work of art, and is validated by the piece being within the top 10% of the peer voted selection. This is done as a check and balance to the potential of ballot stuffing by a single individual with multiple patron accounts. Patron’s mention goes to the piece of artwork that receives the second most site patron votes, again validated by being within the top 10% of the member voted selection. In the event of a tie, the prize is divided equally.
