How are winners chosen?
All videos will first be reviewed by a panel of corporation judges who will recommend ten semi-finalists. The ten semifinalist videos will then be narrowed to five finalists by a panel of celebrity judges. The five finalists will then be available for viewing and voting on the AmeriCorps Video Contest website from June 15-July 6, 2009. There will also be an opportunity to vote during the National Conference on Volunteering and Service from June 22-24, 2009. The general public will have three weeks to vote.
