How are white tigers formed?
They are formed because of a very rare gene disorder that nearly eliminates their orange pigment. Some scientists say that there is a 1 in 10,000 chance that a newborn cub will have this gene disorder. However if you breed a white tiger with an orange tiger, their offspring will have a 1 in 4 chance of receiving this gene disorder though many times this inhumane breeding has caused the offspring to be born with mutations.
