How are water charges calculated for single-family in-town dwelling?
For single-family dwellings within the city limits, a bimonthly service charge of $5.10 is assessed to each billing period regardless of usage. Water rates for consumptions of 1 through 30,000 gallons are $2.00 per each one thousand gallons and $2.50 per one thousand gallons for usage over 30,000 gallons. This is a 2% increase over the 2000 rates, and is effective January 1, 2001. .
