How are Volunteers Recruited?
Volunteering for Net Neighbours does not require very much of a time commitment from volunteers. We have found that university academics and administration staff see it as an easy way of doing some voluntary work. Advertising on campus has been quite effective but we have attracted most volunteers through word of mouth. We have also found that the retention rate is very high once people start.
