How are volunteer partnerships made?
AMIGOS has established certain standards for the placement of volunteers in order to insure that everyone is placed in situations which are culturally appropriate and safe (i.e., no male/female housing partners). These guidelines have been voted on by the Board of Directors and have been explained to the field staff. AMIGOS expects these guidelines to be adhered to in every situation.
