How are video footages analyzed?
Behavior analysis is an extremely tedious process at our end. Video files captured at the stores are ordered and tagged for processing. A content processor would break up the video in parts of 5 seconds (e.g. 30-minute footage would be broken up in 360 parts of 5 seconds each) and code what he or she sees in it in an elaborate coding format that has been developed over months. We have the capability to analyze, shopper movements in a store and what the shopper is looking at, using manual as well as automated processes. Our proprietary technology brandCam translates video footage into a digitized spatial format and returns spatial values to be used by quantitative analysts. It is the methodology and depth of our analysis that gives us very robust insights into shopping habits & behavior.
