How are Uniting Financial Services’ funds invested?
Uniting Financial Services’ investment portfolio consists of a mix of lending, commercial property, cash and equities. The majority of funds are invested through lending to Uniting Church organisations and external borrowers. Direct property investments make up approximately 18% of investments, with cash and interest bearing securities another 12%. Uniting Financial Services has a small holding of equities, at around 3% of our current funds under management. Uniting Financial Services invests within the ethos and ethics of The Uniting Church in Australia, Synod of NSW and the ACT. Our investment policies and practices are conservative and diligent, and at all times protective of the interests of the Uniting Church and our investors.
