How are TTI projects selected?

0

The TTI project selection process is outlined in Figure 1. It begins when the Technology Transition Manager releases a formal call for TTI proposals to the TTC members and subsequently to the Military Departments, Agencies, and US Special Operations Command through the Technology Transition Working Group members. Working Group members receive proposals from their respective S&T activities, evaluate them against internal priorities and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) criteria, and submit their top priorities to OSDs TTI Program Manager. The Technology Transition Managers senior staff consolidates these submissions and conducts a Department-level evaluation of the proposals. Each proposals score against the evaluation criteria as well as Military Department/Agency recommendations and the available funding are considered. The TTI Program Manager submits a list of recommended new start projects to the Technology Transition Manager for approval. See the About TTI section for sp
