• All employees newly appointed to DCIPS will be required to serve a two-year DCIPS trial period. • An employee serving a trial period at the time of conversion into DCIPS pay bands will complete the trial period in the new position and will be deemed to have completed a DCIPS trial period. • Current Intelligence Community (IC) employees who are in a trial period, and who are appointed to a DCIPS position, will finish their trial period in the DCIPS appointment and will be deemed to have completed a DCIPS trial period. • Employees who have served a trial period in another IC organization are not required to serve another trial period.
