How are transfers arranged to the Resort?
A. The method of transfer depends upon the distance of travel from and to the airport. The options available are: Motor Boat, Speed Boat and Sea Plane. Resorts located in Malé Atoll are typically transferred by Motor Boat and Speed Boat whereas resorts in further away Atolls are transferred by Speed Boat and Sea Plane. All modes of transfer are within 10 minutes of the International Airport . Please be aware that seaplanes are prohibited from flying after sunset, so if you are arriving in the evening you will need to spend the first night either in Male’, Hulhule’ or a nearby resort. Please contact Surf Maldives Online to arrange suitable accommodation if you plan to arrive in the evening. Q. What if I arrive on an evening flight. A. Seaplanes do not fly after sunset.
