The Ontario Ministry of Health (MOH) Air Ambulance service is based at the TCCA. Both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters use the airport for critical-care patient, medical staff and organ-donation transfers to downtown Toronto hospitals from all areas of Ontario. Over 4,000 movements per year occur in and out of the TCCA.
