How are they developing their IT capabilities/e-business strategies?
“We’ve developed our website in two stages – the first was getting something simple and basic up on the web, and we’re very lucky in that Connected Surrey part-funded that, and the next stage, which we’re in now, is to develop our web presence further and to ensure we’re making the most of it. Connected Surrey has helped us get this far, and has made the whole process painless and highly affordable. At this stage we have made it so that customers can email in their enquiries straight from the website but we haven’t fully developed the e-business potential of the site. That comes next. We’re also looking at introducing an e-mail newsletter to Club members and using our e-mail database to send out invitations to tasting evenings and other special events”.
