How are the written assignments graded?
The four 800-900 word responses are graded on a 10-pt scale. These assignments are fairly short, and you’ll have a great deal of choice about which sessions you’d like to write on throughout the term. It’s a good way to pull together your reading notes into some coherent themes, and if you write them well, they’ll make for great midterm and final prep for you. These assignments plus section participation account for 30% of your grade.
