How are the WESTEST Mathematics Formula Sheet and the Science Reference Sheet to be used for Grade 10?
Students in grade 10 will find the formula/reference sheets for Mathematics and Science in the back of the test booklet. The formula sheets are made available prior to the test on the WESTEST web site (http://westest.k12.wv.us/pdf/Math_ref-sheet_op05WV1.pdf and http://westest.k12.wv.us/pdf/Sci_ref-sheet_op05WV1.pdf). These are the same formulas that will be found in the test booklets. Copies of these documents may be provided for students during the WESTEST; the copies should be clean copies, not the ones used in classroom practice. If the school does not provide copies of the formula sheets, then students must use those provided in the back of the test booklet. DO NOT REMOVE those pages from the WESTEST booklet; removing the pages from the WESTEST booklet will interrupt scanning and slow down the scoring process.
