How are the video clips made?

The video clips are made using the same videostreams as described above for our camera snapshots. Using a video capture card (Winnov Videum Board) installed in the same PC, we record 5 seconds of video from a particular camera. This video is compressed using the MPEG-4 encoder, and then saved as an AVI (Audio Video Interleaved) file. After each video clip is recorded and processed, the files are transferred to our WWW server where they are available for download.
