How are the various criteria weighted in assessing the application?
For industrial/commercial projects, cost effectiveness will have a weighting of 50% with all other criteria evenly weighted. For all other categories, the criteria will be evenly weighted. However, the Evaluation Panel will be responsible for making its own assessment of the applications as a basis for the recommendations to the Minister. It must be recognised that this scoring methodology only provides a way of ensuring proper consideration for each element of a proposal and is only a guide to the optimum result.
