How are the two texts similar?

This one is fairly straightforward. A few points to help you out: – Both worlds, in one sense, can be called dystopic. BR was never a utopia to begin with, but has spiralled downward into a dystopia. BNW on the other hand is the ‘perfect world’ where ‘everybody is happy’. This however, is not necessarily true because not everybody is happy. There are flaws throughout the system – it is a dystopic world. – Both texts obviously relate to the Wild. Don’t forget this one! – Both texts talk about the lack or disassociation with the natural world. It has been removed fully in BR, and isolated off in BNW. – Both texts explore the effects of consumerism and where it may lead the world. – Both texts have religious themes. BNW uses Ford as a satire of Lord (see T symbol vs. Christian Cross, also). BR uses Tyrell as the ‘God of biomechanics’, with Roy as the prodigal son, and fallen angel. – Both texts talk about what it means to be human, and the blurred line between artifical and natural.
