How are the training activities organized?

0

Training events are organized by the OSCE Academy, often in cooperation with a certain international, regional and/or local partner organization. Funds for training activities are allocated by a government of an OSCE member country, or by a development agency (such as Sida). OSCE Academy is a public foundation and acts on a non-commercial basis. According to the topic and thematic approach of any given training (course, training seminar, training for trainers or introductory training), duration of the former may be from one to ten days. Training content is proposed by the trainer, but is always subject to previous elaborate discussion by the Academy’s management and amendment to its educational policies and standards. As a rule, all training has a large interactive component: role games, group work, written and oral contribution of participants.
