How are the tracks and releases priced?
The labels and artists choose the price of their tracks. We have two pricing structures, and the labels are free to choose between the two. When labels choose the first pricing structure, MP3s are $1.99, and WAVs are $2.49. After these tracks have been on the site for 8 weeks, the price decreases by 50 cents. For the 2nd pricing structure, the MP3s are $0.99 and the WAVs are $1.49. The tracks with this pricing structure do not change in price after 8 weeks. We also sell bundled releases at a reduced cost. If you buy the entire release, each track is reduced anywhere from 25% to 80% off the single-track price. In order to buy the entire release and receive the discount, you must add all of the tracks from the release to your cart using the ‘ADD ALBUM TO CART’ button located on the View Album page. Once the tracks are in the cart, you will see the discounted price of the individual tracks.
