How are the team territories determined?
MLB and its member clubs determine which ZIP codes (and thus areas) are claimed by each team. You can see a map here: http://www.maurybrown.com/images/MLBTerritories.jpg Or, you can specify your exact ZIP code here and learn which teams you are “in-market” for: (left-hand column, under “Standard Features”, where it says “Check For Blackout”) http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/subscriptions/mlbtv.jsp This is directly from MLB and should be considered an *OFFICIAL* source, I’d trust it more than the DirecTV website.
