How are the summers in Naples?
I get asked this all the time and I have to say they are fantastic, if not a little wet. Yes, the temperatures are higher – average 84 degrees F. – and it can be a little humid, but no more so than other east coast areas. Plus, we have the cool gulf breezes to keep things comfortable. Water temperatures are about 85 degrees F. so you can walk right on in and don’t waste time “getting use to it.” Summer is our wet season so we receive a fair amount of rain and you should expect showers nearly everyday. The nice thing is they are short lived (sometimes less than an hour in duration) and the water is warm.
