How are the services of the Tidewater Regional Group Home Commission funded?
The programs of the Tidewater Regional Group Home Commission are funded at a sustenance level by state and local governments. In 2002, state budget cuts to community-based juvenile justice programs resulted in the elimination of several of the Commission’s services. Additional programs affected by the budget cuts are now funded in their entirety through the philanthropic efforts of Children’s Resources.
