How are the salary benchmarks calculated?
The salary benchmarks specified do not make a statement on the actual remuneration paid by the specific company for the job on offer. They are rather to be seen as targeted salaries of market leaders in the relevant industry segment. They are meant to provide our candidates with orientation for rating open positions and assessing their own career milestones as well as to provide them with a helpful indication for salary negotiations. They are explicitly not the salaries offered or normally paid by the specific companies. The targeted salary specified is the average value paid by the market leaders at the respective level. This value may be up to 20% higher or lower in each company (greater variation may be possible in individual cases).
