How are the routing algorithms modeled?
NSM imports Cisco router configuration files, then builds the baseline network from these files. So all network examination, modeling, and analysis are based on actual router configurations. NSM also models routing algorithms; for example, how each router constructs its routing and connectivity parameters (from the router configuration files), as well as a detailed representation of how a particular routing protocol functions.
