The resort is located 20 minutes from La Cruz, which is a small town with access directly off the well maintained Pan American Highway. From La Cruz, you must travel on an unpaved dirt/rock road for about 20 minutes before arriving at Recreo. Total driving time from the airport to Recreo is 1 hour and 15 minutes.
