How are the rescue workers duped into helping the dog mafia?
Many rescue workers are well meaning. They are cultivated slowly over time… rescuing dogs that really need rescuing. However over time a certain adrenaline and purpose of life takes over and they will rescue anything to give their life meaning. The rescue worker caught stealing a show dog in California, told police she was “rescuing” the dog. The dog had won a Group 4 the weekend before and was obviously in excellent condition. Her psychologist testified at her sentencing, “Lori __________ is severely open to suggestion that a dog needs help.” The dog mafia seek out and foster this in a mafia soldier.
