How are the prices of the artwork determined?
The selling price will be initially determined by the artist and documented in the artist’s contract. Studio Ocularis may make suggestions to the artist regarding the price, but the decision ultimately resides with the artist. There are many factors to consider when pricing the artwork, such as the cost of supplies and amount of labor put into the production of the piece, and the artist’s selling history. We recommend the artist carefully research their market to ascertain the optimal price.
