How are the piano classes run?
Piano classes last for 1 hour, but the kids get to move around and change activities quite a bit, so it doesnt get to be tedious for them. The students have their own digital piano with headphones. Part of the hour is spent playing as a group, during which the students can hear themselves and the teacher, but not the other kids. Another part of the hour is spent up at the teachers piano or at the board. Finally, the teacher sends the students outside to play a musical game or activity, and takes each student one by one for some individual help.
