How are the people in Finland grieving?
I think everybody is still shocked. This happening stopped the whole country. There are a lot of debriefing activities going on for the pupils of the Jokela school center. Our president and prime minister and arch bishop were talking on Finnish television about our common sorrow, which touched everybody. The next day there were flags flown at half mast everywhere. There are lots of activities in our churches too and their Sunday services were dedicated to the memory of the victims. Headmasters and teachers were asked to discuss this incident and the ensuing emotions with their pupils. Everybody thinks that this event should be discussed thoroughly and it should not be wiped under the carpet.
