HOW ARE THE NSF CHECKS SENT TO COMMERCE DIGITAL?
The merchant signs a form that is sent to their bank that instructs the bank to mail all returned checks to us prior to re-depositing the NSF checks. If for some reason the merchant wishes to received the NSF checks from their bank directly they can forward them to us themselves as long as they have only been returned only once. The bank will only forward uncollected checks to us. The merchant will continue to receive all other correspondence from the bank such as monthly statements.
