How are the National DIBELS Data System percentiles calculated?
The National DIBELS Data System percentiles for DIBELS 6th Edition are calculated from the system-wide student scores from the 2010-2011 school year. The National DIBELS Data System percentiles for DIBELS Next are calculated from the student scores from the Sentinel Schools Project conducted by the Center on Teaching and Learning at the University of Oregon during 2010-2011 school year. We will be posting a technical report with more information about the percentiles shortly.
