How are the “Music of the Caribbean” enrichment sessions different from “Jammin Geography”?

“Music of the Caribbean” enrichment sessions must be scheduled immediately following a Pantasia Steel Band school assembly and are appropriate for students in kindergarten and up. The topic options focus around the steel drum and Trinidad & Tobago, where the steel drum originated. All session are completed by the end of the school day. “Jammin Geography” can be scheduled without a preceeding assembly and can be scheduled for more than one day. This in-class program is appropriate for students grade 2nd-8th and teaches about several Caribbean islands as we travel from NW to SE on a map, tracing our journey.
