How are the MGA Junior Golf Programs different from the AJGA?

Quite a bit! The AJGA is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to the growth of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. The AJGA mission is starkly different than that of the MGA Junior Golf Program, as we are interested in using the game of golf as a vehicle to teach values and bring opportunity to those who might otherwise never have an opportunity to play the game. Aside from hosting our Massachusetts Junior Championship, the MGA does have plans to hopefully establish a junior sectional golf program that will serve more as grass-roots level competition for new players to the game.
