How are the logs sealed and put together?

0

All of our log profiles incorporate a tongue and groove system, locking each log to the one below it. We also apply sealant and use a polyfoam tape between each course of logs as well. On the butt joints, a groove is routed out vertically and a wooden spline is driven down between the logs. We use high strength lagbolts every 30″ and on either side of the joints.
