How are the listing fee estimates calculated in the Ads view?
We try to use the same listing fee calculation that is used by the auction site the ad will post to. There are many variables that can affect the listing fee estimate. For instance, starting bid, reserve price, buy-it-now, feature options, gallery, gallery featured, etc. are taken into consideration when the listing fee is calculated. The eBay fee structure is different for regular auctions than it is for eBay Stores and Fixed Price Items. Also, the fee structure is different for some eBay categories than it is for others — especially in eBay Motors. The fee you see in our system is just an estimate and is not guaranteed to be accurate. You will need to check the fees on the marketplace directly for the most accurate information.
