How are the large and small test tubes in the kit to be used?

0

The large test tube filled half to three-quarters full can test all the hormones including the A.M. (morning) reading of the adrenal hormone cortisol. People who have morning and evening fatigue may also want to test their P.M. (evening) cortisol level, which is where the second, smaller tube comes in. This is to be used to collect saliva just before bed in order to test the nighttime level. To do a complete adrenal function, cortisol is collected four times a day, morning, noon, evening and just before bed, hence there are four collection tubes in the kit.
