The input fuse is calculated by multiplying the charger set voltage, (fully charged level of battery) by 1.1 to find the secondary voltage, multiplying the charger output current by 1.5 to find the secondary current, multiplying the secondary voltage by the secondary current, divide the answer by the input voltage and multiply by 1.4.
