How are the drugs/diseases categorized?

All Profiles (companies, diseases, drugs and genes) contain a large number of searchable fields. However, we have also applied commonly-used classifications to drugs and diseases so that users can filter by these when browsing. Drugs are classified according to drug family, therapeutic category, the WHO Essential Medicines Library (EMLib) classification and the EphMRA code. Diseases are classified according to WHO ICD-10 Disease Classification.
