Trading is out to 15 months. As with all other LME contracts, only members of the Exchange are able to trade; the physical industry and other market participants must access the market and its risk management services through the LMEs membership. Billet is traded on all three LME platforms; in the Ring, electronically on LMEselect, and interoffice telephone.
