How are the CLL Board Members chosen?
Elections: The Nominating Committee reviews available Board positions and nominations of potential Board member candidates (open to all members of Chesterfield Little League) to develop a suggested slate of candidates. The slate is approved by the entire Board and the nominees are presented to the general membership at the annual General Membership meeting in September for election. Floor nominations are accepted at the General Membership meeting prior to the election. Following the General Membership election, the new Board elects its officers. The Board’s officers include the President, the Vice-President (Operations), the Vice-President of Baseball (Coach Coordinator), the Player Agent, the Secretary, the Treasurer, and the Safety Officer. The new Board members begin their terms at the first meeting in October.
