How are the chemical parks linked to the international supply of raw materials?
The chemical parks generally have unlimited access to Europe’s chemical product organization. That ensures an exceptionally well developed pipeline network for raw materials and intermediate products. For example, the chemical parks are linked to the European trans-shipment centers for mineral oil, natural gas and naphtha. The chemical parks also obtain ethylene and propylene via pipeline connections. The parks are interconnected through a network system of pipes providing hydrogen, carbon monoxide and specialized gases. Closely networked pipeline systems ensure the provision of raw materials and the exchange of products at the site.
